The Darling Health and Sport Centre is a multi-purpose Centre which will be available for all members of the community. The Centre will consist of a swimming pool (and related facilities: ablution facilities, pump house, etc.), a multi-purpose activities centre and an early-childhood development centre. Phase 1A of the Centre is the swimming pool and it is with this phase that construction will begin at the end of July 2009.

The construction of Phase 1B (early childhood development centre and the multi-purpose activities centre) will begin later this year, depending on the availability of funding.Pieter-Dirk Uys, Sabine Plattner and Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu act as patrons of this fantastic project.
